So, why Nothing a Jameson can’t fix? Kind of a weird name for an IT related Blog?
Well, part of it is rooted in my great memories of Dublin, Ireland. I was working for IBM Germany doing Lotus Notes development, and was assigned to Dublin for 6 weeks to work on a project. There was a great international group from all different countries and companies and we all would go out, have fun, and explore Dublin.
I also do like Jameson to drink, plus my son is named Jameson. So that’s why I named my blog Nothing a Jameson cant fix.
About me personally, I was born in Germany and moved to Maryland in 2007. I’m currently the VP of IT at a Credit Union with branches in Maryland, Virginia and DC.
I originally started with IBM Germany, got my BA in Mannheim Germany and Cambridge, England and have been in the IT Industry for a while now. I spent 7 years in Higher-Ed in Washington DC, doing a lot of Cisco stuff and help-desk. This got me started in the States, and I’m forever grateful to be given this opportunity.
I’m enganged in several communities and am proud to be a member of the Veeam Vanguards since 2021.
